Codes of Practice/Code of Conduct (Abbreviated)

 

Staff are expected to:

  • maintain a high standard of teaching
  • focus on learning skills and student behaviour
  • always present a professional role model for the students
  • to develop new curriculum materials
  • investigate into more suitable teaching and learning materials
  • procure more resource materials
  • implement new programs Ni Hao mandarin and Experience Chinese
  • take up leadership roles on school committee

 

Code OF Conduct for Parents

1. Parents and students are expected to be punctual for school sessions. Parents shall make sure the children bring a school bag with school prepared teaching materials and self-prepared stationary, water bottle full of water, a sun hat, and non-cracker or watered snacks etc.

2. Encourage the children speak Chinese as much as possible.

3. Parents are encouraged to communicate any concerns about classroom instructions or special needs for their children with the school teachers AFTER classes or directly to administrator.

4. Do not bring any hot liquid e.g hot café or anything smelly into the classroom.

5. Please keep quiet in classroom during sessions.

6. Parents should actively help their children needed in classroom and school environment.

7. Student address and contact information must be kept current with our staff.

8. Parents shall respect all school teachers and staff. If problems occur, contact the on-duty staff immediately.

9. No dissemination of any advertisements, including political or religious pamphlets, is allowed, nor should solicitation of any kind on school property during school hours be permitted.

10. Parent who has violated school regulations and/or engaged in improper conduct, which resulted in serious consequences, the school will not be held accountable for said conduct or the consequences resulting there from.

Code OF Conduct for Students

1. All students shall adhere to the regulations put forth in the Student Handbook under the guidance and supervision of parents, teachers, and staff members.

2. Students who violate these regulations will be interviewed, reported and reprimanded accordingly.

3. Students are expected to follow and obey the teacher’s instructions. If a foreseeable absence is forthcoming, please inform the teacher in advance.

4. Students should actively complete assigned homework.

5. Students are encouraged to speak and write Chinese inside and outside the classroom.

6. Students are expected to be punctual for school sessions and are also expected to obey all traffic safety rules.

7. Students are encouraged to communicate any concerns about classroom instructions or special needs with the teachers or school administrators.

8. Students are not allowed to play danerous games in schoolyard.

9. Bullyings both verbal or physical are not accepted.

10. Student who has seriously violated school regulations and/or engaged in improper conduct, the school reserves the right to expel the student.

11. No student assembly or activities without prior permission from the school.

12. Report all items found on the campus to the on-duty staff or notify the staff of items lost on the campus.
