This class offers the students an opportunity to review and consolidate their previous learning in Chinese. In line with the topics of learning, students may review what they have learned, and study new vocabulary, sentence patterns, and use of the language, as well as translation and literature appreciation. The focus will be on continuously learning Chinese, improving language communication and application skills, as well as translation and literature appreciation, as appropriate to their level of Chinese proficiency.
The students will study one theme each semester as what’s in the BSSS curriculum, i.e. the changing world, diverse perspectives, the individual, and society and community. For content details please refer to the information sheets. Students who completed ASCC Grade 9 are usually at a Continuing level, a few may reach an advanced level.
To study this course, we require the students to bring their own laptops (all secondary students enrolled at an ACT public school should have a laptop provided by ACT Government if they did not opt-out).
